【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61993specifiestheperformancerequirements,technicalcharacteristics,operationalrequirements,methodsoftestingandrequiredtestresultsforshipborneautomatictranspondersysteminstallationsusingVHFdigitalselectivecalling(DSC)techniquesandisassociatedwithIEC60945.WhenarequirementinthisstandardisdifferentfromIEC60945,therequirementinthisstandardshalltakeprecedence.Theshipbornetransponderinstallationisintendedtoassistintheefficientoperationofship-reportingsystemsandvesseltrafficservices(VTS)byenablingoperatorstoidentify,pollandautomaticallylocateandtrackshipswhentheyareapproaching,enteringandsailingwithinthelimitsofaship-reportingsystem.Thesystemmayalsobeusedfortheidentificationofshipsbyashipandshipsbyaircraft.AdescriptionofthesystemisgiveninannexC.Thisstandard-incorporatesthetechnicalcharacteristicsincludedinITU-RRecommendationM.825fortranspondersystemsusingDSCandthetechnicalcharacteristicsincludedinITU-RRecommendationM.489forVHFradiotelephoneequipment;-incorporatesthetechnicalcharacteristicsofDSCequipmentandtheoperationalproceduresforitsusecontainedinRecommendationsITU-RM.493andITU-RM.541;-incorporatesapplicablepartsoftheperformancestandardsofIMOResolutionA.803forshipborneVHFradioinstallations;-takesaccountofIMOResolutionA.694forgeneralrequirements;and-conformswiththeInternationalTelecommunicationUnion(ITU)RadioRegulationswhereapplicable.Thisstandardforatranspondersystemisnotintendedtomeettherequirementsforauniversalautomaticidentificationsystem(AIS),asdetailedinIMOResolutionMSC.74(69)annex3.NOTE-Alltextinthisstandardwhosemeaningcomplieswiththatinthenormativereferences,namelyIMOResolutionA.803(19)andITU-RRecommendationsM.825,M.489,M.493andM.541isfollowedbyareferencetothesource(numberofIMOResolutionorITU-RRecommendationandparagraphnumber)inbrackets.
